Electric Safety Demonstrations - Southwest will provide, at no cost to customers,
a very impressive Hot Line Electrical Safety demonstration for service groups or
businesses. A classroom Electrical Safety demonstration is also available for area
schools.
Youth Energy Camp - Southwest sponsors young men and women of high school age to
attend the annual Nebraska Rural Electric Youth Energy Camp. Held in the beautiful setting
of the Halsey National Forest, this week long camp exposes students to educational and
recreational experiences, leadership training, environmental awareness, character building
and social interaction.
Electronic Payment Service - Customers can save time and money with our Automatic
Payment Service (ACH). Please contact Colyn Suda at our office for more details on the ACH
program.
Levelized Billing - Eliminate the peaks and valleys in your
monthly bill due to cold weather or extreme hot summer days with
levelized billing. Each month the computer figures your bill by
calculating your actual usage, and then averaging this amount with
your last 11 months. Therefore you will always be billed on a
revolving balance and never have to be hit with those extreme high or
low bills. Also, there is no "settle-up" month, which
means very little maintenance. You don't have to keep track of
any un-paid balances that would need to be paid in full each year
before starting the new budget year. Your account can easily be
